Shriners Hospitals for Children invites you to participate in their annual research meeting on Friday, Feb 26th, 2021 from 10:00AM – 6:00PM. Agenda and login information attached. We hope to foster more interest and collaborations between GT and Shriners.
A formal relationship between Georgia Tech and Shriners started in 2019. Shriners has already funded on the order of $1.3M in collaborative research projects with GT for exoskeleton, smart prosthetic, and data analytic work. The first session of the day will highlight some of the recently-funded projects in the data analytics space.
Shriners Hospitals for Children is a network of 22 non-profit medical facilities across North America. Children with orthopedic conditions, burns, spinal cord injuries, and cleft lip and palate are eligible for care and receive all services in a family-centered environment, regardless of the patients' ability to pay.
