Do you want to take your medtech innovation
to the next level?

BME Capstone is now accepting
Spring 2021 Project Submissions

Submissions due Saturday December 5th, 2020; 11:59pm EST

What's the answer to your  "I wish I had..." or, "What if we could...?" when it comes to your ideas for novel medical device technology? What if you could partner alongside and advise a Georgia Tech Biomedical Engineering (BME) team to investigate and develop a solution for that idea in just 16 weeks?

You can! BME Capstone is currently seeking project proposals for the Spring 2021 semester. During GT BME Capstone, each Capstone team works over 500 man-hours per project to ideate, design, and prototype real solutions that address unmet clinical needs.

All healthcare professionals-- physicians, nurses, trainees, emergency technicians, biomedical industry members, and academic researchers-- are invited to work with us!

Our award-winning teams are focused on delivering value and results to project sponsors in order to ultimately benefit impact patient care. Our student teams have been recognized in the following entrepreneurial and design competitions:

  • Winner of NIBIB DEBUT Challenge HIV/AIDS Prize
  • Winner of 2nd Place for NIBIB DEBUT Challenge
  • Winner of Johns Hopkins University Healthcare Design Competition
  • Winner of Rice University 360 Global Health Technologies Design Competition
  • Finalist for the Collegiate Inventors Competition
  • Finalist of TCU Values and Ventures Competition
  • Finalist of Georgia Tech Inventure Prize

If you have identified a health-care challenge that needs to be solved, Capstone teams are eager to work on it. We look forward to working with you this Fall!
