Georgia Bio's COVID-19 Update

Georgia Bio Community,

As we continue to navigate these unprecedented times, I hope that you are staying safe and healthy. While Georgia Bio staff is working remotely, we are still providing resources for your use and information. I encourage you to review this email for tools, news, resources, and even a link to our new jobs board, which is FREE for member companies to post to. With many companies reducing staff, if you have an opening, please take a few minutes to post to our board.

This week Governor Kemp called on all Georgia businesses who can help the state provide, produce, distribute, or store critical health care items needed to fight the spread of COVID-19. This link will direct you to a portal that will allow for those with resources and capabilities to identify what they can offer. We will continue coordinating with the State of Georgia and other partners to ensure that the scale of the community can be realized.

Other announcements this week include public schools remaining closed through April 24, a 14-day stay at home order for the city of Atlanta, new restrictions on bars and nightclubs statewide to close, limit gatherings, social distancing, and shelter-in-place orders for high-risk citizens.

Georgia Bio is monitoring state and federal regulations daily and providing regular updates to our members. Please see our COVID-19 Resources page for more information.

Sincerely,
Maria Thacker-Goethe
President & CEO, Georgia Bio
