2019 Neonatal Research Initiative - Request for Proposals

The Little Giraffe Foundation is accepting applications for its 2019 Neonatal Research Initiative. Through the initiative, grants ranging between $5,000 and $10,000 will be awarded to qualified scientists, doctors, and nurses at universities, hospitals, and research institutions in support of research that addresses both the long-term and immediate health needs caused by premature birth.

Research subjects identified by the foundation as appropriate for support through the program include basic biological processes governing development, genetics, clinical studies, studies of reproductive health, environmental toxicology, and social and behavioral studies. To be eligible, applicants must be based in the United States and represent a U.S.-based research institution. The foundation does not award grants to individuals or families.
