Sherry Farrugia is Finalist in Women of the Year Awards!

Sherry Farrugia, Chief Operating & Strategy Officer for the Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta Pediatric Technology Center at the Georgia Institute of Technology (Georgia Tech), has been named a finalist of the Women in Technology Women of the Year Awards for 2018. In her role, Farrugia manages the public-private partnership between Georgia Tech and Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. She provides insight into the innovations, new technologies and startups developed as a result of the partnership.

Ms. Farrugia has been with Georgia Tech since 2011, and is nominated in the Medium/Mid-Size Organization & Educational Institutions category. Sherry represents both Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta and Georgia Tech with the Global Health ATL: Innovation Hub, and is the Vice President for the International Society for Pediatric Innovation.

Winners are to be announced at the Women in Technology Awards on Thursday, November 8, 2018 at the Georgia Aquarium.
