All medicines have side effects, and side effects can be particularly detrimental in children. Georgia Tech investigators use many approaches to carry pharmaceutical molecules to the target locations or cells in the body and avoid other sites that may cause adverse reactions. These techniques allow children to take lower doses of medications with greater safety.
